Wet shotcrete, a new technology in the field of tunnel construction, is gradually gaining popularity alongside the commonly used dry shotcrete in my country. This innovative method offers several advantages during the shotcrete process. Firstly, it significantly enhances construction efficiency, allowing for a smoother and quicker operation. By utilizing wet shotcrete technology, the drawbacks of both dry spraying and wet spraying methods can be effectively addressed. To provide support for the tunnel, the first step taken is to utilize the wet shotcrete operation via a concrete wet shotcrete machine. Once the excavation of the tunnel is done, a layer of 4cm thick concrete is sprayed onto the rock surface to seal it. This is followed by the laying of bolts, erected steel frames, and steel mesh to prevent the shot rocks from falling. After cleaning the concrete surface, it is resprayed again to achieve the designed thickness. This process is crucial in ensuring the safety and stability of the tunnel structure.

 

There are various types of concrete wet spraying machines, including small machines, hydraulic pumping machines, rotor piston machines, vehicle-mounted machines, and wet spraying manipulators.
